Mangalik Prasango / Mandvo
Mangalik Prasango or Mandvo is a pre-wedding ceremony that signifies the commencement of the wedding celebrations. During this event, the bride and groom participate in various rituals guided by a priest, exchange meaningful gifts, and receive heartfelt blessings from their loved ones.
This is followed by the Pithi ceremony where family and friends come together to bestow well wishes upon the couple by applying a paste to the bride and groom made from turmeric, sandalwood, rosewater, and other ingredients.

Mehndi Night
Mehndi night, a pre-wedding ceremony, involves the application of henna to the bride's hands and feet. This tradition symbolizes the strength and depth of the upcoming marriage, with a belief that the darker the mehndi, the more joyful and prosperous the union. Family and friends celebrate the bride-to-be and are also encouraged to have their hands decorated with henna.
During the ceremony, the groom's name is hidden within the bride's henna design. This playful tradition challenges the groom to find his name - let’s see if Sagar is able to find his name in Priya’s henna!

Garba Raas
Garba-Raas, a vibrant Indian dance form popular among Gujaratis. "Sangeet" or "Garba Night" is held before the wedding day, where guests and families gather to dance, enjoy food, and socialize.
Event includes performances by friends and family, followed by Garba - a traditional folk dance characterized by circular, rhythmic movements - and Raas, which involves using festive sticks known as dandiyas. These dances are typically done barefoot, easy to learn, and it’s fun to watch even if you’re not the dancing type!
